New Exhibition: Dublin Port – 10 years of Soft Values

Soft Values of Seaports: Celebrating 10 Years of Culture at Dublin Port
Dublin Port Company is proud to present Soft Values of Seaports, a landmark exhibition now open at The Substation. This special exhibition marks ten years of cultural, community and heritage projects that have brought Dublin Port and the city closer together.
The story begins in 2015 with the restoration of the Diving Bell. Since then, Dublin Port has supported projects in theatre, film, literature, heritage and education. These initiatives have shaped new connections between the port, the river and the people of Dublin. The exhibition brings them together through panels and film screenings, revisiting cultural, community and environmental projects from the past decade.
Minister for Finance Paschal Donohoe officially launched the exhibition. It runs until 11 October 2025, Wednesday to Saturday, from 11 am to 3 pm at The Substation.
In addition, a special programme of screenings runs for the full duration of the exhibition. Screenings take place every Wednesday to Saturday at 12 pm and 1 pm, with each week introducing a different theme – from theatre and music to port history and community – revisiting projects commissioned by Dublin Port over the last ten years.
